Peggy - Interesting is Everywhere from Rob Quartly on Vimeo.

Peggy Lee is an extremely talented and successful cellist who likes to push the limits of conventional cello.  What you will see and hear is abstract and improvised playing and then improvising with the improvisation.  The result is a multi-layered piece; a mash-up of tonal and atonal "music".  The visuals are abstract yet compelling.  The slow motion water crashing onto an elegant instrument is beautiful for some but disturbing for others.  For me, the box image is a layer that echoes the creative box of trying to musically improvise on improvisation and capture that on film.  Interesting is everywhere.
